High specification gymnasium fit-out for a leading health company. This project had a variety of gym spaces, offices, showers and charging facilities.

The Equinox project was born out of the need from the American based Equinox chain looking to begin a mass rollout of their business in the UK as an increase from the 1 site which they opened a decade before in Knightsbridge, the ethos of the brand was to provide a high end gym to the elite city workers in the heart of the City of London, in doing so they created a beautiful space fitted out to the ultimate specification and to provide pure opulence for its users.

Arena provided the complete electrical package across the 5 floor fit out which included new LV switch boards, full electrical infrastructure along with small power and lighting to the various areas of the gym which included, changing areas, steam rooms, a retail shop, spinning class studios. Yoga studios, general gym areas, a juice bar café and even an onsite laundry.

There was a need for an un-obtrusive and maintenance free solution for the fire detection system as visually there was a requirement for this not to be seen on the special acoustic finished ceiling, as such our sister company Arena Fire & Security (London) Ltd designed a site wide system that employed a type of aspirating system to provide the solution. Along with installing this they also installed and commissioned the DDA refuge system and emergency assist alarms to the DDA areas & steam rooms.
